MeditaDream is an app of guided audio meditations, published by Edouard Richemond in France. These terms govern its use. By using the app, you accept them.
The app is completely free. It has no subscription, no in-app purchase and no ads, and it requires no account. Some meditations unlock as you practice, through points earned by completing sessions. These points cannot be bought and have no monetary value.
The sessions are offered for relaxation, inner exploration and well-being. They are not medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment, and they do not replace a health professional. If you are going through mental distress, a difficult bereavement or an emergency, contact a professional or the emergency services in your country. Some sessions use symbolic imagery drawn from contemplative traditions: these are aids to imagination, not facts.
Never listen to a session while driving, walking in the street, operating machinery or in any situation that requires your attention. Settle in a safe place, and stop the session if you feel unwell.
The app is intended for people aged 18 and over.
We grant you a personal, free, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the app for your private use. You may not copy, resell, publicly distribute, extract or modify its texts, recordings, images or code, except where the law allows it.
The session texts, recordings, illustrations and the MeditaDream name belong to the publisher or are used under license. The reading voices are synthetic voices. Ambient sounds from third parties are credited in the "Sound credits" screen.
The texts you write, such as your journal, notes and "My meditations", stay on your device and belong to you. We have no access to them.
An internet connection is needed to download a session's audio the first time; the session then remains available offline. We do our best to keep the app and its content accessible, but we cannot guarantee permanent availability. We may change, add or remove content.
The app is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for indirect damages related to its use. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
How the app handles information is described in the Privacy Policy, available in the app and on meditadream.com.
If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its support. If you downloaded it from Google Play, the Google Play terms also apply.
These terms are governed by French law. In case of disagreement, please write to us first so we can find an amicable solution. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also go to the courts where you live and benefit from the protective rules of your country.
We may change these terms. The new, dated version will be published in the app and on the website.
