Less stress: what MeditaDream changes
Stress relief shouldn’t require a free hour. The 4 Minutes sessions fit between two meetings: When Everything Moves Too Fast grounds you through your eyes, your feet and your breath, Relax Very Quickly loosens your body in three minutes, and Calming Down After an Argument helps the tension ease after a conflict.
When you have more time, breathing exercises take you deeper. Breathing with the Whole Body and The Luminous Breath calm your attention through the breath. Stabilizing Attention on the Breath — Ariadne’s Thread trains you to come back to it, again and again. And if sitting still is hard, The Dance of Qi — Qigong in Motion offers relaxation in slow motion.
Not sure where to start? Tell the Oracle how you feel and it suggests three meditations, or simply search “stress.” Set a daily reminder, download your favorite sessions, and your next break works anywhere, even offline. It’s all free, with no ads and no account.

Less stress: the immersive worlds
Less stress: how to use the app in 4 steps
When stress spikes, open the 4 Minutes category and play When Everything Moves Too Fast or Relax Very Quickly. Three or four minutes can be enough to come back to the present.
Tell the Oracle what’s going on, like “overwhelmed at work,” or type “stress” in the search bar to find sessions that match the moment.
Once a day, take a longer break: Breathing with the Whole Body (13 minutes), or a few rounds of box breathing over an ambient sound on the timer.
Set the meditation alarm for every day or chosen days, and download your favorite sessions so a calm break is always one tap away, even offline.
Frequently asked questions
How do I use MeditaDream for stress relief?
Start small. When stress rises, play a session from the 4 Minutes category, such as When Everything Moves Too Fast. Then build a habit: one longer breathing session a day, like The Luminous Breath, at a time set with the meditation alarm. If you’re unsure what fits, the Oracle suggests three meditations based on what you type.
What is box breathing, and can I practice it here?
Box breathing is a breathing exercise in four equal counts: breathe in for four, hold for four, breathe out for four, hold for four, as if tracing a square. The Learning library explains it step by step, and you can practice it on your own over an ambient sound on the timer. If holding your breath feels uncomfortable, simply skip the holds.
How long should I meditate to feel less stressed?
There’s no magic number. Three or four minutes can already help you step out of the rush, which is why the 4 Minutes sessions exist. Regularity matters more than length: a short daily session is easier to keep up than one long session a week. When you have more time, try a session of 13 to 25 minutes.
