Better sleep: what MeditaDream changes
Wondering how to fall asleep when your mind won’t slow down? MeditaDream gives you a sleep meditation made for bed, lights off. Drifting into Sleep guides you down gently and never wakes you at the end, so you can drift off before it finishes. On longer nights, Sleep Journey stays with you for 27 minutes, without any pressure to fall asleep.
Rather hear no words at all? Pick sleep sounds such as waves, forest or a mountain stream, set the timer from 5 to 60 minutes, and the sound fades out on its own. Choose your voice, slow it to 0.75×, then download everything once. In airplane mode, your sessions keep playing, with no network to disturb you.
Your evening can start winding down earlier, too. Precise Gratitude ends the day on something you enjoyed, Your Instant Refuge brings a reassuring place to mind, and the Oracle suggests three meditations for how you feel tonight. You can even write your own bedtime session and hear your phone read it aloud.

Better sleep: how to use the app in 4 steps
Half an hour before bed, open the Oracle and type how you feel, like “tired but wired.” Pick one of its three suggestions, or a short session like Precise Gratitude.
Lights off, start Drifting into Sleep or Sleep Journey. Both are made to be heard in bed and end with no wake-up, so you can stop listening whenever sleep comes.
On nights when words feel like too much, open Ambient sounds, choose waves or a mountain stream, and set the timer from 5 to 60 minutes. The sound fades out gently.
Download your favorite sessions once, choose your voice and a slower pace, then switch to airplane mode. In the morning, note any dream that stayed with you in your Dream Journal.
Frequently asked questions
How do I use MeditaDream to fall asleep?
Get into bed, turn off the lights and start Drifting into Sleep (16 minutes) or Sleep Journey (27 minutes). Don’t try to follow every word: if you fall asleep, the session simply ends without waking you. On nights when you’d rather hear no voice, play sleep sounds on the timer and let them fade out.
Should I choose a sleep meditation or sleep sounds?
Both have their place. A guided sleep meditation gives a busy mind something gentle to follow, like the weight of your body or the rhythm of your breath. Sleep sounds suit nights when words feel like too much. You can start with a voice, then switch to waves or a forest stream once you feel ready.
What if my mind keeps racing during a sleep meditation?
That’s normal, and it isn’t a failure. Each time you notice a thought, gently come back to what the voice describes, like the weight of your head on the pillow. Short practices help too: Your Instant Refuge or A Happy Memory Through Three Senses give your mind a pleasant place to rest before the lights go out.
