Who it is for, and when
Journey Through the Galaxy is for nights when you need perspective and a sense of wonder. In 19 minutes, a train of light takes you past Saturn's rings to the far side of the galaxy and back. Choose it when something weighs on you, or whenever the night sky calls you and you want to travel without moving.
How the session unfolds
You float free of the ground until a golden train of light stops beside you. From your seat by the window, you watch a whale of light swim alongside, and one of your guides quietly sits next to you. The train crosses the icy rings of Saturn and a shower of shooting stars, then stops at a glass station on an asteroid. In its night market, a merchant with golden eyes gives you a vial holding a tiny turning planet. A ring of light folds space, and at the far end of the galaxy you let a weight pass through the glass. Then the train brings you home.
Tips to make the most of it
- Sit in a comfortable armchair, like a passenger by the window.
- If you can, look at the night sky for a minute before you start.
- Afterwards, keep a small glass jar or bottle in view, like the merchant's vial, as a reminder of this calm.
